WELCOME to COVENTRY KIDS CENTER!!
Coventry Kids Center is a small, homey daycare and preschool center that provides structure and a great learning experience for both you and your child. CKC is a perfect fit for those families looking for the relaxed, safe and comfy atmosphere a home daycare can provide with the structure of being a full preschool program all in one. There is lots of love to pass around at CKC to all of the children. In the winter we all run around in our slippers while learning all about the alphabet from A-Z. We work on a theme based curriculum that concentrates on learning about the letters of the alphabet, a specific topic that begins with that letter, library, music and reading. We also learn patterns, sequencing and estimating to prepare for Kindergarten. At CKC we feel that a child’s independence is important and we teach lots of self help skills to all of the children. Socialization is just as important for us to teach the children as is the educational aspect.
We provide 5 different programs:
Our first program is our Infants. We accept children ages 6 weeks - approx. one year old. The is a place where your child can begin their daycare experience with lots of one on one time, tummy time, and more than enough love to go around.
Next is our Toddler program, ages one - three, where your child will work on the beginnings of self help skills and lots of socialization. They will have songs and circle time, arts and crafts and reading time.
We also have our full day preschool/daycare. The children come in for 7:00 AM and have a full preschool program before they head out to play, have lunch and nap. When they wake up it’s more of a daycare setting, goodbyes by 5:30PM.
The fourth program is our ½ day preschool which begins at 8:30 with a welcoming time and then a full preschool program that ends at 11:00AM.
Our fifth program is our Before & After School which caters to children in first grade – fifth grade. We help the children get on the bus in the AM and off the bus after school. Snack is provided as well as homework time for those who want to get it over with. There is a lot of socialization in this program. Enrollment in this program also includes any snow days, half days and vacation time as well as summer. Our summer program consists of a theme based curriculum that includes field trips every Friday.
